Today it's really nice and warm...just one of those sunny first days of spring when you can really enjoy life and be happy. I took the picture in our garden, one of the first blossoms.

Lucky day..

I guess today is my lucky day. I won tickets for a Mando Diao show this Saturday including a 'meet and greet' with the band!! I didn't plan to attend the concert as the tickets were a bit expensive and I'm not too fond of the venue. Plus I've seen them before.
I would've never expected to win the contest..it's not like I ever win anything..haha. Well, guess I got lucky this time.

I'm really excited for Saturday now but to be honest I really don't know what to expect from the 'meet and greet'. I mean what exactly do you say? I don't have anything to tell them..haha. It's great anyway and I'm sure I'll have a blast.

Shopping: summertime

I did some shopping on monday and got myself these beige pants at H&M. They're from the big Spring promotion that is everywhere right now. I also got myself a yellow T-Shirt from the organic cotton colletion and a belt that was on sale.

top: topshop; cardigan: Zara; shoes: H&M

I can't wait for the weather to get a bit warmer so I can wear those outfits!

Outfit: preppy

This is what I wore for work today:

Striped blouse: Uniqlo; caridgan: Zara; wide leg jeans: Uniqlo; bag: shop:lush
I always find dressing for work a bit boring. I don't have a strict dress code but I have to dress appropriately. This is a work outfit of mine that I don't find that boring and that I actually really liked. ^o^

This is the other bag that I ordered from ShopLush.com. The leather feels really nice and after some getting used to I really like the shape of the bag.

+ a black belted linen dress at H&M

I couldn't find a picture of these items online but I will probably post them once I wear them =).

I'm very happy with my purchases, I especially love the things from Monki, that sweater is so comfy <3

This is what I wanna look like for Spring...

New Designer for Chloé

PARIS – Chloe is parting ways with its creative director, Paulo Melim Andersson, and has named Hannah MacGibbon his successor, WWD has learned.

MacGibbon was a key member of the design team under former creative director Phoebe Philo, and helped define the hip femininity that catapulted Chloe tofashion’s big leagues.

Melim Andersson, who joined Chloe from Marni in 2006, showed three collections for the house and received mixed reviews.

I don't know if I'm happy about this, I really liked Andersson's work and I loved all the collections he did for Chloé. But I'm also interested to see the changes the new designer will bring to the brand.

Stockholm - Day 3 to 5

Sadly I'm already back from Stockholm. I would've loved to stay longer, I really like the city.

Day 3 - Saturday
We decided to go on a sightseeing boat trip around all the islands in Stockholm. I really enjoyed it, you really get to see all of the city. I love that it's a city build on many little islands, it makes it something special.
After to boat trip we walked around some more and then took a little afternoon nap as we all were very tired from all the walking and the last night. Then we went to have Köttbullar before we went back to the hotel to get ready for going out.
We went to Ace Club (www.klubbace.se) and it was soo much better than the Spy Bar..haha. I saw lots of cool people and I really enjoyed the music. Great night!

Day 4 - Sunday
For Sunday we had planned to visit the Vasa Museum and it turned out to be quite the perfect timing as it was raining the entire day. The Museum was nice, it displays the a almost fully intact 17th century warship 'Vasa'. It is the only ship from that time that has ever been salvaged.
In the evening we had dinner at Pizza Hut, packed and went to bed early.

Day 5 - Monday
Our plane back to Zurich was to take off at 12:50 so we didn't really have much time left in Stockholm. We only did some lastminute souvenir shopping and I got myself a really nice black dress at H&M and then we had to leave for the airport.

I really enjoyed my time in Stockholm...the shopping was so good. I think I went to all the shops that you guys suggested and enjoyed all of them. I will post later on what I bought.

Stockholm - Day 2

So, our second day was again filled with shopping and walking around enjoying the city. We did lots of shopping on Drottninggatan, got some nice Cheap Monday jeans at Weekday (very cool store) and I got a new haircut ^o^. I just really wanted to change my hair and I thought it would be cool to do this here. I still have to get used to the new haircut but I like it.

In the evening we went to a Swedish Restaurant called "Fem Små Hus" and had an excellent dinner. I had fish, as a starter Hering and as a main course char. It was really tasty. After that we wanted to go out. We had read about about SpyBar being really good so we went there. I have to say it was quite a disappointment, the crowd was a lot older than we were and it was really expensive. So we left and went to a bar somewhere in that area. I think we will try Ace today, as suggested by 'Lynn & Horst' (thank you ^o^).

I have to get ready now because we're going to do a sightseeing boat tour today =)

Stockholm - Day 1

Since my boyfriend took his MacBook with him to Stockholm I can already post some pics now:

The weather is really nice, the sun is out and it's not even that cold. I already did some shopping in Södermalm. I was great, I got a sweater and a t-shirt at Monki..what a cool store. I wanted to buy everything..haha. Today I'm going to get my hair cut and I think we will go out partying tonight..we'll se!

off to Stockholm...jättekul!

So I'm leaving for Stockholm tomorrow morning and I can't wait. I just finished packing..uff, I think I packed way too much as always.

I've been to Sthlm once before but only for two days, so I didn't really have the chance to see everything. I'm really looking forward to explore the city and also to do lots of shopping and hopefully some partying. ^o^

Thanks to everyone who gave me tips on the best places to shop and the nightlife in Sthlm, I noted it all down and will hopefully find the places. haha. I will report back on Tuesday probably, and let you know about my adventures in Sweden. It's going to be awesome!

Hej då!

Stockholm

Anybody from Stockholm out there reading this?

I am going to Stockholm from Thursday (6. March) to Monday (10. March) and I am looking for some tipps from Stockholm-ers!

Can you tell me great places to go out in Stockholm? What's the best club, where do you like to party?
It's hard to really find something online on Stockholm's nightlife so any tipps from locals would be highly appreciated!

Also if you have any tipps for Restaurants or shops that I shouldn't miss while staying there please comment ^o^.

Paris Fashion Week: Chloé

Fall 2008 Ready to Wear

I always love Chloé but I don't like this as much as I did the last two collections. Still it's wonderful and I'd wear almost everything from this collection. I love all the chiffon, so girly and the embroidery jewels are beautiful.

Paris Fashion Week: Kenzo

Fall 2008 Ready to Wear

I love how the clothes are cut and those patterns and prints look fantastic. This whole collection is amazing, the Japan and Samurai reference is wonderfully interpreted.

This is wonderful, Lacroix never disappoints me.

I guess you could say that this looks a little costume-y but I love it nonetheless.

Paris Fashion Week: Chanel, YSL,

Chanel was okay, nothing special (as usual). But there were some pretty dresses that I really liked.
