secret garden

I love this bubble skirt, it's so nice and kitchy.
When I saw it in the store I wasn't sure weather I liked it or not, it's almost a bit too bubble-gum-barbie-ish. But the more I looked at it the more I liked exactly that about it so I bought it, and I glad I have. ^o^

bubble skirt - Gina Tricot; shirt - Vero Moda; trench - my mom's; boots - Vagabond

I would've loved to accessorize this with some necklaces but I wore this to a concert so it would've been kinda unpractical.

The skirt is fabulous!! But I can see why you hesitated, I think on someone else this could have looked horrible, especially if not paired with the right pieces. But it looks soo good on you!

love the colour of the skirt. i don't think it's bubble gum more salmon and chic. great way to bring some summer to a look. what show did you see?

Ah, too cute! Saw one girl who came into my store one day in a similar skirt paired with a tucked in gray cardi, with a black rimmed glasses ala Miroslava Duma

definitely a good buy, I really like the way you avoid the barbie vibe by pairing it with black pieces!

You did right by that skirt by pairing it with all black and tough gal boots.

Love Grace.

Nesli: Thank you so much ^o^. After getting the skirt I was still a little challanged and didn't know what to pair it with but I think it's just key to keep it simple and not too girly to avoid the barbie look =P.
Linneà: What a coincidence, really =D!
Cindy: I'm really trying to stay away from too dark outfits at the moment so flashy garments like this skirt really come in handy =D!
It was a really small and intimate show, an English band called 'Eight Legs'. They were great!
R.A: Mhh, sounds like a nice combo, I might try it sometime.

I think that this skirt is fashion perfection! It looks wonderful like you've styled it, and it would be so easy to create different looks!
