yeah, i know exactly what you mean...for me it`s kinda fancy but too unnatural for my taste so I have a really ambivalent relation towards it^^
I have been known to crimp my hair on occassion. I find it much more wearable to only crimp sections and the leave rest straight. If I'm feeling more free spirited than normal, I'll throw in a wave or two.

I actually don't like the look of crimped hair it's really not my
thing,but it actually looks cool in the photos. Just the thickness of the hairstyle creates that volume that I like.

i love it, but never done it!
Crimping is truly awesome if it's well done. Here, it looks amazing, but when people don't do it properly or aren't able to rock it, it can look very cheep.
Lady Death: I know exactly what you mean. I think it can really easily look cheap...so I'm kinda hesitant to really try it. But I do love it on the models here.
