H&M x Lanvin

H&M finally solved the mystery about the new designer collaboration. After posting several videos on their youtube channel which didn't give away the designer they dropped the bomb now with a new video featuring Alber Elbaz

“I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. I thought it was a smart concept so I say 'I do.' This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.” - Alber Elbaz

I love Lanvin and am beyond excited about this collaboration. I think this might be the first H&M designer collaboration I will queue for. This better be good!

Last week eating Japanese watermelon popsicle with the boy and enjoying what turned out to be one of the last warm and sunny days of August.

Our next big stop after Amsterdam was Copenhagen. I loooove Copenhagen but unfortunately we didn't have much time there so we mainly did some shopping - Copenhagen is excellent for shopping - had delicious drinks in a fancy bar by water and ate the best burgers in the world. We also went to the Carlsberg Brewery but that was about all the sightseeing we did. It was wonderful nonetheless.

amsterdam

Sorry it took me so long to do another post. I spent the last few days in bed as I cought a bad infection. But I'm already getting better.

The last pictures I posted of my trip were from a stop we made at the north sea in the Netherlands. Soon after leaving that little town we reached Amsterdam where we had rented an apparment for the weekend before we were to move further north. I've been to Amsterdam last winter and already loved it but Amsterdam in summer is even better - everything is green and bustling with life. There were people barbecuing on the street by the canal and others having a glass of wine in front of their houses.

Sorry, for the long absence. My vacation in the south of Sweden was a little busier and internet-free as I had expected but nonetheless wonderful. We took millions of pictures and I also did quite a bit of shopping which I can't wait to show you guys. But for now I'm leaving you with this wonderful picture of Mary Kate as I go and catch up with all the lovely blogs out there. I will post some pictures this weekendm promise!
